About Yates
Photographic Services

Yates Photographic Services is an Anchorage-based photography and film studio founded by photographer and filmmaker Tyler Yates. We produce commercial, outdoor and tourism work across Alaska, from product shoots in the studio to remote locations reached on foot, bike, skis or snowboard.

With a background in video production and visual storytelling, we deliver stills and motion together, working directly with brands or as part of agency and production crews. Cold, remote conditions are where most of our work happens, and we plan every shoot around them.
